I recorded my story and shared my experience to help and educate those considering surgery and my personal thoughts and opinions.

Surgery is NOT for everybody. it will not make others like you better nor will it make you a better person but it will make you feel better about yourself and your self esteem (i.e. do it only FOR YOU and not because someone wants you to or because “everybody’s doing it)

I highly recommend to wait until you are over 21 for any body altering surgeries as bodies continue to change even as a young adult.

I hope this helps some of you and I will be answering as many questions as I can regarding this as it is a very very big decision.

Breast size and shape are important, so be honest and open about your expectations when talking with your surgeon. Implant type and size will be determined not just on your desired increase in size but more importantly on your breast anatomy, skin elasticity and body type.
Saline implants are filled with sterile salt water. They can be filled with varying amounts of saline which can affect the shape, firmness and feel of the breast. Should the implant shell leak, a saline implant will collapse and the saline will be absorbed and naturally expelled by the body.
Silicone implants are filled with an elastic gel. The gel feels and moves much like natural breast tissue. If the implant leaks, the gel may remain within the implant shell, or may escape into the breast implant pocket.

I am from out of town and I traveled in from North Carolina to Beverly Hills California to have Dr. David Kim perform my breast augmentation. Also known as blepharoplasty, eyelid surgery improves the appearance of the upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both, and gives a rejuvenated appearance to the surrounding area of your eyes, making you look more rested and alert.

Specifically, eyelid surgery can treat any one or combination of the following conditions:
Excess skin obscuring the natural fold of the upper eyelids
Loose skin hanging down from the upper eyelids, perhaps impairing vision

For upper eyelid surgery, generally an incision is hidden within the natural fold of the upper eyelid and extends slightly beyond the outside corner into the laugh lines or other existing creases. Through this incision, excess skin and fatty tissue are removed. Because the incision follows the natural contour of the upper eyelid, it usually is inconspicuous.

For lower eyelid surgery, often an incision is hidden just below the lower lashes. Through this incision, excess skin, muscle and fat are removed, or fat may be redistributed to eliminate puffiness or bulges. Other adjustments to correct special problems such as muscle laxity may be performed. As in upper eyelid surgery, placement of the incision in natural crease lines allows for the scar to usually heal in an inconspicuous fashion.

Over the years, factors such as pregnancy, nursing, and the force of gravity take their toll on a woman’s breasts. As the skin loses its elasticity, the breasts often lose their shape and firmness and begin to sag.

A beverly hills breast lift, or mastopexy, is a surgical procedure to raise and reshape sagging breasts. Mastopexy can also reduce the size of the areola.

If your breasts are small or have lost volume, for example, after pregnancy, a breast lift performed in conjunction with breast augmentation can increase both their firmness and their size.

Post breast augmentation you should be able to return to work within a few days, depending on the level of activity required for your job.

Follow your plastic surgeon’s advice on when to begin exercises and normal activities. Your breasts will probably be sensitive to direct stimulation for two to three weeks, so you should avoid much physical contact. After that, breast contact is fine once your breasts are no longer sore, usually three to four weeks after surgery.
