do face lift massages really work?

Posted by admin On October - 31 - 2010

im only 15 and the skin on my face is EXTREMELY saggy. i have huge puffs beneath my eyes and very very deep laugh lines. i also have a fat face but i have a skinny body. will face lift massages lift my skin up and reduce laugh lines? i also dont drink a lot of water–is that why my face complextion is so bad?

thanks!

sounds like a facial would be very beneficial for you to release some of those toxins that build up in your skin. so yes!

I’m 22, and I work out a few days a week and lift weights, but my upper arm has a bit of fat covering up the muscles. I just can’t get rid of it no matter how hard I try! Could you tell me a little bit about arm liposuction, how it works, how long it lasts, and how safe it is compared to other types of lipo?

THANKS

The battle of the bulge." That tiny, five-word phrase has been shoved in our faces for years, thanks to television, newspapers and magazines. But sometimes, no matter how hard you fight, the bulge has a tougher army. The fact is that certain people have fat cells that will not shrink, despite diet and exercise. You can thank heredity for that in some cases.

Liposuction is an option to remove small bulges that won’t budge and to improve your body’s shape. The areas most commonly treated include the hips, abdomen, thighs and buttocks and face. Liposuction does not remove cellulite, only fat.

Who Is a Good Candidate For Liposuction?

A good candidate for liposuction should have realistic expectations about the results of this procedure as well as these basic qualities:

Average or slightly above-average weight
Firm, elastic skin
In good overall health
Concentrated pockets of fat that do not respond well to diet and exercise
Patients with poor skin quality (cellulite) are not good candidates for liposuction because they may develop skin irregularities due to under- or over-correction of localized fat deposits. Age is generally not a major consideration when discussing liposuction; however, older patients often have less elasticity in their skin and thus may not achieve the same benefits of liposuction that a younger patient with tighter skin might achieve.

What Do I Need To Know Before Undergoing Liposuction?

The first step before undergoing liposuction will be to arrange a consultation with your surgeon. During the consultation, your surgeon will discuss which options are best for you, your skin type, the effectiveness and safety of the procedure, the potential financial cost and what your expectations should be. Do not hesitate to ask the surgeon any questions you may have. Now is not the time to be shy.

Once you have decided to undergo liposuction, your surgeon will give you any instructions you will need to prepare for the surgery. This may include dietary or alcohol guidelines restrictions or the taking or avoiding of certain vitamins. Be sure to tell your surgeon of any allergies you have as well as any and all medications you are taking. This includes over-the-counter and prescription medications as well as herbal supplements.

How Is the Liposuction Procedure Done?

Depending on the type of liposuction you are undergoing, the procedure may be performed as an outpatient procedure at the doctor’s office or surgery center, or if large amounts of fat are being removed, the procedure will be done in a hospital and may require an overnight stay.

Before the procedure begins you will be given an anesthesia. Again, depending on the degree of fat being removed and the type of liposuction being performed, anesthesia varies and may only be locally applied or it may required a general application in which case the surgery will be done while you are sleeping.

Once the anesthesia has taken effect, the liposuction procedure is performed using a suction device attached to a small, stainless steel instrument called a cannula. Through small incisions, the cannula is inserted into fatty areas between skin and muscle where it removes excess fat either using a suction pump or a large syringe. This results in a smoother, improved body contour. The length of the procedure will vary with the amount of fat needing removed.

Tumescent liposuction of the arms using microcannulas provides excellent cosmetic results. The arms are one of the areas that consistently yield the highest level of patient satisfaction and happiness.

Appropriate Patient
Not every person is a good candidate. But for appropriate patients, the results are most gratifying. Liposuction of the arms is almost exclusively a procedure for women. Exercise of the arms does not reduce the volume of fat located on the arms. Most women do not want arms that appear muscular or masculine. A heavy, bulky arm gives the appearance of obesity, a thinner arm helps to give the appearance of a thinner body.

Skin Excision
Older liposuction techniques would also often include an additional excision of skin from the inner side of the arm with resulting unsightly scars. With tumescent liposuction of the arms using microcannulas, excision of skin is not necessary. Microcannular tumescent liposuction of female arms easily and consistently yields results that are well proportioned and without visible surgical scars.

Cosmetic Goals
The aesthetic goal of arm liposuction is for a woman to feel more attractive in social situations while wearing short sleeve clothing. The typical social activities involve standing or walking, sedately sitting at a table while eating or drinking, or seated at a desk writing, typing or conversing on a telephone. The goal of arm liposuction is 1) to improve a disproportionate appearance of the arm, while maintaining the quality of female beauty, 2) to allow the patient to feel more comfortable and less

has anyone used the breast enlargement tablets on the internet?
do they actually work? did they make you sick? how long did you take them? what size were you before taking them? and what size are you now? how long do you have to take them before they start working? and how long do you have to take them for?

Things like this are only phonies. You are only going to be the size God wants you to be. Creams, sucktion cups, etc are false

I’m on a weight loss mission in 2007, and I’m hoping to lose 115 pounds.

I am hoping against hope that I won’t have to have a ton of plastic surgery to achieve the kind of body I want, and I am desperately afraid of being put under general anesthesia.

Has anyone had both a breast lift or reduction and a tummy tuck at the same time under local anesthesia and sedation?

Also, how long did it take you to recover from the surgery? How long did you need to have someone at your home to help you?

Tummy tuck and Breast reduction surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

What to ask during plastic surgery counseling?

Posted by admin On October - 31 - 2010

A relative is having a counseling session for performing plastic surgery on his face around his eyes tomorrow (it’s a beauty surgery to fix dark circles -his is real bad) and I was wondering what questions he should ask the doctor. The said counseling has cost him over $500 apparently so we want to make sure that no time is wasted during the session.

Thanks.

What’s the healing time?
What things do we need to do to make the healing go as fast and easy as possible?
What will I be feeling for the first couple weeks?
When will the swelling go down?
What types of medication will I be on for pain?
When will I start noticing the results?
Will there be any scarring or bruising?

Andlos Wide Awake Liposuction

Posted by admin On October - 31 - 2010

2 Andlos Wide Awake LiposuctionWide Awake Lipo at Andlos in Sarasota Florida performed by Dr Robert Carlson of Sarasota, FL. The cost of anesthesia is a large portion of the price of a traditional liposuction procedure. A liposuction procedure without general anesthesia allows patients to remove small pockets of fat (2-10 lbs depending on total body weight) at a significantly lower cost than traditional liposuction (often less than $1000). Additionally, full recovery from the procedure is as little as a day. The more fat removed, the longer the recovery time.

2 Breast Augmentation Breast Implants Breast Enlargementhttp://beverlyhillsplasticsurgery.com
Observe my experience as I have umbilical (through the bellybutton) breast augmentation and learn more about this procedure from Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. David E. Kim.

In T.U.B.A. (trans-umbilical breast augmentation), an incision is made along the rim of the patient’s navel. An endoscope is then tunneled to the breast and a pocket for the implant is formed behind the breast. The breast implants are inserted through the incision and moved into the breast pockets. Once inside the pockets, the implants are filled with a pre-determined amount of sterile saline solution. When the desired look is achieved, the filling tube and endoscope are removed.

One of the main advantages of navel breast implant incisions is the resulting scar is very small and virtually undetectable. Abdominal skin typically has more elasticity than the skin on other incision sites. This allows for a smaller surgical scar once the procedure is completed. Also, unlike breast implant incision sites on the breasts, the T.U.B.A. breast augmentation incision is located in the navel, leaving the breasts free from scars.

In addition, inserting breast implants through the navel requires only one incision (and scar) for both breasts. Other breast implants incision sites require separate incisions for each breast.
